Legal Terms and Conditions
- CarryOn, Inc. (COI) agrees to ship parcels on behalf of the client to a location designated by the client for arrival on a day designated by the client, or within a reasonable time frame to allow the client use of the articles in the parcel.
- COI makes every attempt to have parcels delivered to the designated location on the day of client’s arrival, however delays may occur. If parcel has not arrived at the designated location upon client’s arrival. Client will take the following steps:
- Client will contact CarryOn Customer Service line at 866-56-CARRY between the hours of 7am and 7pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. CarryOn will track the parcel and determine its location.
- If parcel does not or will not reach destination within 24 hours of scheduled delivery, client will be reimbursed for one day’s worth of the content’s of the parcel, not to exceed the value of the contents in the parcel. An additional day’s reimbursement will be given for every 24 hours the parcel is delayed, up to the total value of the contents.
- If delayed items can be temporarily replaced with items available for rent (such as golf clubs, musical instruments, skis, etc…) rental fees will be reimbursed only. New items will not be purchased except in the event of total loss.
- If items are damaged or lost during shipping restitution will be paid to the client only after claim is paid by the shipper.
- Value
of contents will be the sole determination of CarryOn, Inc, except in the
case that the client declares the value of specific contents. If specific value is declared,
client agrees to allow COI to purchase additional insurance from the shipper to be charged back
to the client.
- COI makes no guarantee as to the wearability of clothing upon arrival. Articles of clothing may become wrinkled during shipping.
- COI will not be liable for any money, wages, potential business lost as a result of delayed or lost shipment.
- Client agrees not to ship any items that are restricted in any quantity. Those items include but are not limited to:
- Hazardous materials including explosives, volatile liquids, compressed gas, poisons, corrosives, oxidizers and radioactive materials. Some examples of commonly used items which fit this category are: nail polish remover, isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, butane, cigarette lighters and matches, dry ice.
- Firearms or ammunition, ordnance of any kind.
- Alcohol products such as beer, wine, spirits.
- Illegal drugs or legal drugs in quantity exceeding that intended for personal use.
- Live plant or animal material of any kind, including seeds, seedlings, soil, insects, worms.
- Perishable food for human or animal consumption.
- All items are subject to reasonable inspection, including physical inspection and x-ray screening.
